Really?!? There's another provider out there just like me?!? I was starting to feel kinda lonely.

My friend, I have seen the cat puke. It's out there in plain sight and everyone just steps over it and keeps on going. I've even tried to clean it up a time or two but the cat still comes back top the same spot and replenishes what was taken away.

I wear a target on my hind side for pointing out the fact that the emporer isn't wearing any cloathes on a daily basis. As of late, due to my blogging, it seems I have started to install runway lights that will lead all incoming traffic directly directly to it's target. It's not easy being "that guy", but that's who we need to be...who we must be.

If nothing else, I'll see you in the unemployment line.....

My soon to be wife wanted me to point out that SHE had to clean the cat puke up the next day because I was at "work"

There Honey, I said it.

EMS politics are hard stuff. I'd surmise that it's because of the strength of the friendships that form in this profession. Everyone has someone's back... right or wrong. That can make things hard to change.

Great analogy!

fwiw, at our house, the rule is whoever sees the cat puke first has to clean it up, no cheating. And anyone who steps in puke previously seen by another person has the right to retribution.

As for the more serious issue... that seems to be much more difficult, being the one to point out the "cat puke," let alone try to clean it up. We're trying, but it is hard to have much of an effect on "the way it has always been."

Maybe you need to know this . . . </></>A man and his wife were having some problems at home </></>and were giving each other the silent treatment. </></>Suddenly, the man realized that the next day, he would need his wife to wake him </></>at 5:0 0 AM for an early morning business flight. </></>Not wanting to be the first to break the silence (and LOSE), he wrote on a piece of paper, </>'Please wake me at 5:00 AM.' He left it where he knew she would find it. </></>The next morning, the man woke up, only to discover it was 9:00 AM and he had missed his flight Furious, he was about to go and see why his wife hadn't wakened him, </>when he noticed a piece of paper by the bed. </></>The paper said, 'It is 5:00 AM. Wake up.' </></>Men are not equipped for these kinds of contests.
