A Short Exploration of our Perception Problems.. IE wtf

Here’s a little something for EMS week:

Ok, so I was reading an article on www.Cracked.com today and came across this picture of an album cover while reading this article on “The 19 most Hilariously Failed Attempts at Sexy Album Covers”. Like the author of that article, I too do not see any reason to question the artist’s claim of being “Da Baddest B***H”.. however I would like to point out that I would like that uniform to be made mandatory for my service. White shirts = awesome EMS wear.

Also, who among us doesn’t remember that time on the old Ferno X-frame with the Zoll 3 and the guy with the head wound. Right??

The only down side to white shirts is that they can be hard to keep clean. I've never heard of a Zoll 3, but I'm not a Zoll Fan Boi, so what do I know. I generally don't, however, recommend stacking all of the equipment right where the stretcher is going to go. Just saying.

My service wears white button-up shirts as part of the uniform. Personally, I think they look great! However, I haven't finished orientation and gotten onto the streets just yet, so I haven't experienced the cleaning issues just yet.

We tried uniforms exactly like those, but the boss decided it was a bad idea since we refused to shave our legs… plus… lifting the stretcher in heels was, in general, quite the adventurous task.
